Cambridge Audio Evo One All-in-One System utilises the StreamMagic platform, found in their acclaimed CXN100 and MXN10 network players, to effortlessly stream from various music services.

Equipped with an impressive array of 14 drivers, including 4 x 1" silk dome tweeters, 4 x 2.25" aluminium cone mid-range, and 6 x 2.75" long-throw woofers, the Evo One All-in-One System offers a remarkably wide sound dispersion and expansive soundstage. No longer confined to a specific "sweet spot," every listener in the room can enjoy the exceptional sound quality.

Power is delivered by 700W of Class D amplification – 50W (RMS) per driver for fine control – while an advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) has allowed for perfect tuning of the Cambridge signature sound. The result is breathtaking clarity and deep controlled bass that defies the limits of the one-box form factor. 

Within the StreamMagic control app, audio can be personalised to the listener’s taste. A seven-band EQ can be used to tweak the sonics manually to an astoundingly precise degree, while a wealth of presets is offered tailored to multiple music genres and TV-watching scenarios. Room-optimisation features in the app enable you to adapt the sound manually to your unique living space.

EVERY LISTENING BASE COVERED

Evo One is built around the 4th generation of StreamMagic, Cambridge Audio’s industry-leading streaming platform for seamless, stable listening across an enormous number of services and formats. 

StreamMagic enables direct streaming from Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Deezer, Qobuz, Roon Ready, UPnP and Internet Radio with support up to 32-bit/192kHz hi-res audio over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. As Cambridge owns and develops the StreamMagic platform itself, new features and services are regularly added to improve and increase its functionality.

For maximum wireless flexibility, Evo One gives the options of Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. To share music across devices all around the home, Evo One is fully compatible with Google Home, Apple AirPlay and Roon multiroom systems​.

Wired connectivity is equally well served. HDMI eARC means the Evo One can be connected to a TV, forming the sound foundations of your home entertainment system. A moving-magnet (MM) phono stage means a hi-fi turntable can be directly connected, while a line input takes care of other analogue sources. An optical digital input and USB-A media socket provide further digital options.

While all of Evo One’s functionality can be accessed via the StreamMagic app, and the HDMI eARC connection enables simple volume control through a TV remote, a dedicated remote control is supplied to ensure complete ease of use for anyone in the room.

Special Platter

The heavy aluminium platter is TPE-damped and anti-magnetic, featuring a TPE ring inside that dampens unwanted resonances.

Bearing Block

A massive, precisely CNC-milled aluminium tonearm bearing block absorbs all unwanted resonances from the cartridge.

Counterweight

The added TPE damping ring to the counterweight has been included in this model, just like it is on ProJects high-end players, which further refines the sound quality.

Carbon Fibre Tonearm

ProJect Debut EVO 2 features the a 8.6‘‘ one piece carbon tonearm design. This super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage.

The New Pick it MM EVO Cartridge

The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2. Not only does it complement the lightweight tonearm sonically, visually, its stunning.

ProJect phono specialists have once again teamed up with cartridge experts at Ortofon in Denmark to create this new cartridge. It combines a number of innovative technologies, including Ortofon's renowned split pole pins, which allow for a flat frequency response comparable to that of MC cartridges.

Backside Beauty

ProJect Designers and Engineers believe in clean aesthetics, and not just on the topside. The Debut EVO 2 is the first turntable to integrate the RCA output box and power socket directly into the plinth, resulting in a sleek, cohesive design.

Premium Connection

Gold-plated RCA sockets on the Debut EVO 2 provide the highest-quality connection. The included high-grade Connect it Phono E RCA cable uses premium materials like a copper conductor to ensure signal transmission without loss. This semi-symmetrical cable has shielding connected only at one end, so the yellow-marked side should always be connected to the receiving device.

With the RCA output sockets, you can easily upgrade the phono cable, enabling the Debut EVO 2 to support True Balanced technology. For this, you’ll need an MC cartridge or the Pick it PRO Balanced.

A Throne for Your Records

The heavy, 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter undergoes a precision balancing process to achieve perfection. It features a TPE ring on the inside to dampen resonances and minimise wow and flutter.

The anti-magnetic platter also allows for the use of MC cartridges and supports ProJect's True Balanced Connection Technology.

For an extra level of damping and stability, the separately available Record Puck E is the perfect addition to the Debut EVO 2. The platter’s notch for the record label, combined with the Record Puck E, will ensure your record is pressed tightly against the platter for optimal performance.
